Just a couple weeks ago (March 5th) the Transition made its’ initial flight. This amazing little vehicle, small enough to fit in a standard garage., has fold up wings, can cruise in the air at about 115 mph and has pretty decent gas mileage on solid ground at about 30mpg highway. In order to legally drive one you need to take a Sport Pilot test, which you can complete in about 20 hours and about $3,000. The price? Total estimated costs for the flying car are around $194,000 with a $10,000 deposit. I think I need to start playing the lottery.
